Flights
You can fly to either Cagliari (Elmas), Alghero (Fertilia) or Olbia airports. If you are travelling from the West Country (UK) the Bristol-Olbia route is very convenient. Olbia airport is situated in a stunning location and if you arrive during the day light hours the drive to the apartment through the Barbagia mountains is spectacular.
If you are not sure of the best route please contact us via email stating your preferred UK airport and we will provide the latest information. Please note that some regional airports only fly to Sardinia during peak season.

From November 2007 there will be flights from Bristol to Milan run by Ryanair. A connecting flight can be caught from Milan to either Cagliari or Alghero. There is a direct Bristol-Olbia route currently offered by Easyjet, which has proved popular with West Country travellers. Summer 2009 will see Thomson Fly offering a route from Birmingham to Alghero. New flight routes to Sardinia seem to be appearing regularly, so it is worth checking your local airport destinations periodically. If you do travel long distance to a London airport, it is often worth considering combined hotel and parking options as these are sometimes cheaper than just parking fees and are more relaxing. (Don't forget to budget for airport parking at London this can be as much as £100 for a week, so you may find a local flight works out cheaper in the long run!)
